Rainer Ludwig
For many years, Ludwig has been fascinated by the possibility of using the medium of light as a form of art and performance to highlight the shape of objects and spaces, to emphasise the atmosphere of a room and to influence and control the emotions and reactions evoked in the viewer. He uses the design elements of light direction, brightness, contrast and colour in an artistically targeted way to create lighting moods and light spaces that add a further level to architecture, scenography and stage events in terms of dramaturgy, content and emotion. He designs lighting concepts for the stage, exhibitions, trade fair performances and architecture.
